It’s hard to believe that it’s Holiday Season already! From wrapping up work-related matters to travels and revving up for the year to come, I hope that you carve out time to come back to yourself and what you need before the year is out. I’m so excited to be embarking on an Ayurvedic Specialist certification within my Master’s program!
My official studies begin the end of January, and are scheduled to conclude the end of October. I’ve been fascinated by this framework ever since I went through my Yoga Teacher Training in 2017. It uses the natural elements and cycles as a framework for bringing yourself back into balance through movement, nutrition, and mental frameworks.
I already bring elements of this practice into my Coaching sessions, but this Specialty Certification will allow me to have a more clinical approach to my recommendations and education. The first module of this certification begins the last weekend of January, so you will notice that the 29th & 30th are unavailable for appointments.
I’m looking forward to bringing more of this wonderful philosophy to you.

As we begin to move into Fall, there are the expected shifts among this world of uncertainty. Aspects of work or school routines may begin to take shape again, and sometimes these responsibilities can help to root us and give us some reassurance.
September always seems like a sobering month in the NYC metro area where we need those reassurances. So, I encourage you to seek out and intentionally bring those welcome routines into your life, or to shift your reality to become what you want it to be. It’s extremely easy to stick with the familiar whether or not it still serves you. What serves you to create and nourish the life that you want for the long term?

What is Yin Yoga? Yin yoga targets the fascial chains that I often work with during bodywork sessions, so it’s a complementary offering! The practice involves holding easy poses, often on the ground, for 3-5 minutes each in order to allow the deeper connective tissues to relax and have sustainable change. This practice is great for chronic tension and postural imbalances.
What is Reiki? Reiki is energy healing that can be done in close proximity or via intentional distance healing. Energy cannot be created nor destroyed, and we and everything around us are made of energy. Therefore, we are all connected whether we can see the tethers or not. Energy is known by many names throughout different cultures: ki, qi, prana, chi, vim, life force, vitality, etc. Reiki is utilized in a variety of instances such as for those in cancer treatment, those suffering from PTSD, as well as healthy individuals to help find balance and clarity.
